Local Events

Even though the end of summer is closer than ever, the weather is still warm, making right now the best time to take advantage of all of the local events in the Antioch and Brentwood areas. Mark your calendars for these events that people of all ages will enjoy this season.

On September 12^th and 13^th, head out to Pittsburg Marina to take part in the 31^st Annual Pittsburg Seafood Festival. Your admission tickets gets you access to all that is going on throughout the event, including Jet ski races and riding demos, bathtub races, waterfront activities, and much more! There will also be a beer and sports pavilion so that you do not miss out on your favorite NFL games.

The Heart of Oakley Festival is taking place on Saturday, September 19^th, and is not an event that you will want to miss out on. Head out to Main Street between Vintage and Norcross to enjoy gourmet food trucks, wine tasting, kid's activities, and various vendors. The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. to give you plenty of time to enjoy everything that is offered.

Do not miss out on the 17^th Annual Delta Blues Festival on Saturday, September 19^th. The event will feature six different blues bands, starting at noon. Admission into the festival is free, and has plenty to enjoy other than the music, including crafts and delicious food.
