This family-friendly event will benefit the ministry of Shepherd's Gate, which transforms lives and effectively ends destructive cycles. Through counseling, housing, case management, childcare, and more, Shepherd's Gate helps women and children who are struggling with violence and homelessness.
The Shepherd's Gate campus in Brentwood provides long-term and comprehensive care to some of California's most vulnerable women and children. Not only do they provide a hot meal and a bed for the night, but they offer support, job training, medical care, and recovery programs. In turn, these families can get back on their feet that much sooner without suffering and struggling alone.
Walk or run a 5K with Shepherd's Gate in Brentwood in order to raise funds and awareness for the vital programs and services! On Saturday, September 24th, 2016, at 605 Sycamore Avenue in Brentwood, get running (or walking!) to benefit this nonprofit organization. With your help, Shepherd's Gate is able to expand their aid and services to those in need.
