• Contra Costa Artist Open Studio: This notable event is just around the corner, so get ready for a beautiful May. On Saturday, May 16^th and Sunday, May 17^th, artists from East Contra Costa County are joining together to host a standout studio event. Over this weekend, event artists will open their galleries and studios to the public so you can see the great works of local artists and even watch interesting demonstrations. Do not miss your chance to see beautiful works from community artists this weekend!
• Main Street Car Show: Use the last official day of spring to head down to the 1^st Annual Main Street Car Show. This fun event will be held at Civic Center Plaza (3231 Main Street) in Oakley from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 20^th. The City of Oakley and Les Schwab Tires are hosting the Car Show, which will welcome vehicles of all years, makes, and models. If you are interested in entering your vehicle to be a part of the event, make sure you pre-register at Oakley City Hall.
