While you may be enjoying the festivities with friends and families, it's important that you don't let safety fall by the wayside. To help protect your loved ones this season, take a quick review of these top safety tips.

• Turn off holiday lights before leaving the house or going to bed.
• Blow out any candles before leaving the room.
• When cooking, avoid wearing loose clothing.
• Be mindful of any guests' allergies or intolerances when cooking.
• Water fresh Christmas trees daily.
• Be mindful to put holiday cards away from heat and light sources.
• Avoid leaving the kitchen when the oven and stovetop are in use.
• Never let any of your guests drink and drive.
