Keep Antioch Beautiful Day
It is your chance to get together with your friends and family to help make a difference in your community. Keep Antioch Beautiful Day is happening on April 18th and is the best time to help keep your hometown beautiful and clean. Get together with a group and see what you can do to help out in your community.
Donated dumpsters from Allied Waste are located throughout schools, and each location is a distribution point for which you will receive instructions and clean up supplies, such as plastic bags and gloves. From 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m., you will have the opportunity to use the instructions and materials that you are given to help clean up the local community. Simply fill out the online form to get more information and updates as the event gets closer.
By participating in Keep Antioch Beautiful Day, you also have an opportunity to win money for your school. Have all of your friends and family volunteer and put in the name of your school, and the school with the most votes will win. There are prizes for each school level, with a first prize of $500, second prize of $300, and a third prize of $200.
